Description: Wind resource measurement on the Faroese island of Nólsoy is part of a West Nordic project lead by Nordic Energy Research. The objective of the project is to map the possibilities of using sustainable energy systems and hydrogen technologies in the West Nordic countries. The project is expected to be terminated in the summer of 2007 after one year of measurement. The station, comprising equipment supplied by Risø, is owned by the local company Røkt.
